mon (20th july), met Alvin and Jianqi for dinner at Fish&Co at Glass House. JQ treated us to dinner as he wanted to compensate for making me upset last thursday? haha thanks and don't worry, i'm not angry anymore!! as usual, there were some birthday celebrations so the staff sang birthday song for them. it reminded me of Bertram's birthday celebration held there in March. *miss the fun we had that night* sometimes i wish to have a chance to celebrate my birthday there...special memories? haha after dinner, we walked to Iluma and JQ gave us presents he bought from Bangkok. *thanks for always buying presents for us whenever u went overseas.*
today (24th july), i met them for a drinking session at JQ's place. good talks, good laugh, good weather and good company!! =)

had a dicussion with a friend just now, about good friends who are overseas. good friends don't have to always talk on the phone, sms, meet up or even chat on msn...regardless of whether they're in Singapore or overseas. if you can forget good friends after meeting new people, do you still consider those people as your so-called good friends? good friends don't have to keep in contact all the time, it's about being there for them wherever and whenever. the friendship bond will still be strong even if you don't talk to them often. i've got many good friends in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and HongKong so i understand this very well. we can don't talk on msn for a few months, but when they come Singapore, they'll call me and we'll meet up. i guess this thinking differs for every individual. or maybe you should reflect on your thinking, make it the 2 of you.
