recently, i told my sis about some friends going overseas, 1 going europe with school, 1 went amsterdam to visit her bf and another going toronto to visit another friend. and her reply was "your friends all very rich hor?? so what if parents are sponsering?? next time start work and earn alot of money also can go travelling as much as you want what!!" i don't deny what she said is wrong, but don't everybody need a break occasionally?? i seriously feel that my family don't understand me at all. they don't know that i don't like to eat dim sum, that i don't eat certain kinds of mushroom and what nots. they don't know that sometimes, i also wish for a break outside singapore. it's not because i see my friends going holiday that's why i want to go (well partly), but more importantly is i'm quite tired of the life that i'm leading now and i just simply WANT A BREAK!!!!

2 years ago, before my sis went taiwan for business trip, she said i could join her over there since i was having hols then. but somehow, that business was cancelled and so she owes me a tw trip now!! whenever i ask, she'll say "wait till you graduate lor". well, if she really has the heart to pay for the trip, she won't always be saying that. she could just let me go when i had my 3-4 months of hols these 2 years!! i really shouldn't trust anybody's words again, or rather selectively.

why am i always the one???
