if someone told you that he/she has an extra birthday present for you yet you haven't received it, do you pretend to forget that the person said that statement before, or will you ask him/her for it??
if one has no confidence of fulfiling whatever he/she said to somebody, then please don't say those words at the start. raise the hopes of someone first, then make the person disappointed after that isn't fun at all.
