i finally understand e difficulties of getting a job!! u noe wat??? i started applying for many places since end dec last yr...including calling e job agency n gg down 4 interviews!!! but after 3wks or so...i finally gt a reply from IRAS asking mi 2 go down 4 a briefing!!! well dis is a happy matter lah...considering dis was e 1st company i applied for n @ least i'm getting a job dere!!! thou it was nt e data entry kind tt i wanted initially, but i tot maybe customer svc type is oso a pretty good experience!! so i took up e job...n e pay is pretty reasonable oso lah!! haha.
so i went down 4 e briefing on e 19th jan!! dere were nt many pple...like juz 10 of us?? haha we were told we're e 1st batch...so we shld be expecting more batches 2 cum in after tt!! after a short briefing abt e job scoop n stuff...we were released n were told 2 report on 24th jan 2 start work!!! hmm after noeing tt...a mixture of joy n sadness overcame mi!! joy is tt i'm finally getting a job n earning mi own salary...but e sadness part is tt means i cant slp in late anymore!!!! n we hafta work on saturdays too...haiz...e only ting i can tell miself is tt @ least i'm earning $$ on saturdays!!! hahaha.
so 2dae we reported @ 8.30am...initially was pretty relaxing lah!! we were brought ard e building n to our workplace...dere was oso e self-intro part!! a few managers came n toked 2 us and after lunch...we sort of started e training for dis job!! surprising 2 tink tt even a customer svc job oso requires trng huh?? well dis is Inland Revenue where pple file in their taxes...so we nid 2 noe @ least e basics rite?? haha e trng finally ended punctually @ 5pm!! haha haf nuting 2 comment on tt...only hope e rest of e trng days will go on smoothly!! lol....
